There are two types of computers here....the computers in red are newer, and blue are older...about 10 years. While the new one use more power when on because of faster processors and more ram, old computers use so much more power when in standby because they did not have the standby standards we do now, and the computers only turn off the hard-drive and processor, and that is it.
